She's gone, now she's back...wait...is it her?
Well, due the magical properties of the internet, little ole' me got to watch the first two episodes of the new season of my favorite show, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Yup, that's right, I am as much of a geek as you think I am for watching that show. Scoff if you must, but I enjoyit since it has been such a bonding experience with my friends since my freshman year in college.
Seeing as how I am probably the last being on Earth that will ever see an episode after it is released, there is no point in discussing it here. I loathe checking fan sites, so I don't know what has happened if I miss an episode, and frankly, I don't want to let someone else spoil it all for me.
Nothing is worse, in my opinion, than having the ending of a movie ruined by someone. It's like sitting through "The Usual Suspects" and learning the ending before you figure it out yourself. Dammit if that just doesn't ruin that perfectly fine movie.
The only problem? I have been known in the past to do it myself. I have alot to say sometime about a good movie, and a lot of opinions about "What was the symbolism in that I wonder?" kind of remarks that I want to be talking about with fellow movie goers that sometimes I forget that, yes, saying that would give something away.
Well,I say no more! I will try to bite my tongue whenever possible in movies now. My apologizes to anyone that has ever had me ruin a particularly juicy part in a movie. I blame an overly critical movie interpretation ability on lots of hours in front of the TV screen, and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
So now you see why I will not be posting anything about Buffy in the future. One last thing, Willow is totally going evil this season. (Bites Tongue)
