Food Adventure
I decided that since the food that was for lunch today isn't anyone's favorite, I would make something my parents sent me: Cincinnati Style Chili. I went looking frantically down at Magnet for some onions, shredded cheese and some Tobasco sauce. I found the onions, and I had to improvise with some wrapped cheese, but the whole thing turned out well enough.
Sun-ye and Carey both tried a moderate portion. Sun-ye has VERY Korean taste in foods, so she didn't like the cheese part of the "3-way", but did add the onions. Carey actually liked it alot. I was surprised.
I was happy to FINALLY be able to let them try something local where I am from since you can't find Cincinnati outside of, well, Cincinnati. Go figure. It was a nice meal and I didn't even mind the dishes afterwards.
Also, Kurt just got a box of cheeses from his mother that had some drool worthy dairy goodness. Turns out the "Popping the Bubble Wrap" phenomenon is an international thing appearantly too.
