Halloween Party.

I should have known the combination of candy, no hogwon classes, and monsters would be a powder keg of hyperactivity, but I had no idea it would have been like today.

The kindergardeners were all celebrating the birthdays of the last two months, and then afterwards, I began handing out candy to them if they would say "Trick or Treat!". Luckily I had enough to go around, otherwise there might have been a riot. Marc dressed up like a vampire and began scarring the kids for life by running around.

Once the hogwon classes figured out Halloween meant no English, something about masks, and candy, slipped into anarchy mode. I got them to go to Funnyland to let them work off the sugar rush, but it was a frantic time with much jumping and ball throwing. We are just lucky no one choked on all the candy the kids were stuffing down their gullets while jumping on the air mattresses.

I got into the monster costume and scared a few of the children good and proper before getting chased down. I'm never one to pass up an opportunity to mess with a kid's head on Halloween. Good stuff. I pity the kids in the States that won't get to celebrate due to the paranoia about terrorists. I seriously doubt Osama Bin Laden is slipping antrax in tootsie rolls, but hey, if you want to ruin it for your kid, be my guest, I'll enjoy my candy while I have it.
