Good Day so far...or why you should never send Oatmeal boxes.

I got awakened today by a solitary fly that wanted the attention of my ear for some reason. Grrr. I was growling and snapping at Marc before classes, because I wanted my sleep. I even managed to really piss off a close friend via email from yesterday and got a rather harsh reply (I did deserve it) today too.

All that changed though when I went to class. I was feeling a little down, but the Marwon the french student actually started speaking English today and it made me smile. Then I took Penguin class to the computer lab and they actually were operating the computer today. It was absolutely adorable to watch them sing along without realizing that no one else can hear what they are singing to.

After that, while Iw as in another one of my classes, I got the message that my package arrived! Yes! Anyway I hurriedly went and unpacked my things. I was surprised at all the food my mom managed to cram in, and 3 christmas presents too! Too bad they have "Do not open until Christmas" on them. Damn. I giddily started unpacking, but everything was covered with a white powder. I realized my mother had sent more oatmeal in a canister, but it had leaked. It was a minor annoyance, no damage done.

I hooked up my Playstation2, but as of right now, it doesn't power up at all! It might have been damaged on the shipping over here, despite my mom's "fragile" warnings. I don't know. Hopefully when I find a power cord and replace it I will be able to get it working. >=0/ I can't get too upset, there is nothing I can do about it, but dammit, it was an expensive toy, I wish it would work. My new game "Advance Wars" thankfully does work, and I have been frantically running back between classes playing the training missions. To call it addicting is a major understatement. I highly advise you to snag yourself a Game Boy Advance and a copy pronto.

I have a sixth sense about mail delivery it seems. Even though I recieved an email from my mom to expect the package by the end of the month, I knew it would arrive today. Why? Because I don't have any time to play with my new toys, that's why. It's not a cynical remark, just what I knew would happen. This isn't a new power I've developed either. I also, I used to be able to predict when my magazine EGM would arrive without counting the days or knowing if it was delivered on some sort of pattern. I would think "I think my magazine will be here today" and 90% of the time it was. It's a blessing and a curse, because I am rarely pleasantly surprised when I get my mail. It also doesn't work on bills either. >=0)
