Saturday Recap.
After the PC-bong last night, I headed back for what I assumed would be a finished third floor of the school, but in fact, it was in roughly the same shape as when I left yesterday. I went back in my room content on kicking some Street Fighter Ryu-booty, but I got a call from one of the Korean guys from the night before. They asked me if I wanted to go out drinking at 1am, and told me where to meet. I accepted, and killed a few hours before I left to meet them with fire punches and spinning bird kicks.
We met up with a guy I hadn't met before that works part time at an local Arcade. Talk about a cool job. Frankie, (his English Name), Jin (the new guy) and Soun-mo(?), made me play Dance Dance Revolution, and an insanely difficult music DJ game. I don't have, you know, "rythm" which tends to damper my music based gaming experiences.
After that we hit an expensive sports bar, with my Korean friends intent on stuffing me full of sausages, chicken and fruit while at the same time drinking. Since I had already eaten, I tried to politely stuff my face, but greasy food and beer can be dangerous. I avoided any overdrinking, and was very cautious when introduced to the Korean version of an "Irish Car Bomb"....a bottle of soju and a 3 liter pitcher of beer. The worst kind of strong alcohol is the kind you can't taste at all. >=0)
After we got nice and liqoured up, we headed to a PC-bong. They told me the place was the second best place in the whole city, and I agree ( I came back to post from here, even though it's a longer walk). It was approximately 3:30 when we strolled in for some Drunken StarCraft. Even then, these guys were VERY good. We got our asses kicked on Battlenet, but had fun before we eventually collapsed from fatigue at around 5am. We walked home, and I was told since I went out and was treated, next time I am expected to pay. I like that custom, so I told them I was looking forward to that, and that I would call them next week after I got back from the Pusan road trip.
Ok, I have nothing to do, I am at a computer loaded with 256megs of ram and a helluva lot of games....hmmm...how am I going to be spending my afternoon?
