The best thing about a taxi is being in one.

While going out to take of some responsiblities around town, I was forced to walk in the rain. Normally, not a big deal, but it just so happened that I was going across town, and couldn't get a single taxi heading in the right direction that was unoccupied. Fark! I was had to walk about 10 blocks in the rain, all the time for some unknown reason taxis speeded by headed everywhere without me. Maybe it's karma, I must of stole a taxi in a past life or something. Once I finally got where I needed to go and was heading back, I ran like a maniac to the first taxi I saw at a light. I think I scared the driver because he didn't talk to me the entire time I was giving directions. He reminded me of "Lurch" from the Addams Family for some reason, minus the harpsichord.

Talking to Marc, since he is going to be gone for a month, he proposed I could borrow his Autobike. While not looking forward to the possiblilty of having an accident or driving in winter, it would help me get around greatly. I'll strap on a helmet and just go for it I guess if I continue needing to get places when taxis are unavailable.

It's getting creepy. I am taking over training here at school, sort of the default head teacher, and now I will be using Marc's autobike while he is away. If I start following sports and loving San Fransico, I'll have completely gone "The Talented Mr. Ripley" on him. Not that I actually watched that movie, It's got one of them Ben Damons or Matt Afflecks in it.

In other "news" I am slowly working through Twisted Metal Black, beating it with each available character. I finished Mr.Grimm and Specter so far this week, all without cheats, but of course with considerable cheese. The computer opponents deserve it, bastards. Don't get me started on Warhawk either. Ugh.
