Oooohhh...Thinsulate.

After waking up far too early, I went on a shopping binge for myself. I ended up spending a majority of the money I haven't seen fit to squirrel away in my bank account. I purchased clothing of all things, which if anyone framiliar knows, is exceedingly rare. My 1997 wardrobe was either exceeding ahead of it's time and I can still wear it without committing the fashion faux pas of the moment. It might also just be that I just don't give a damn about my attire in more than a practical sense as long as the color schemes I choose to wear don't induce vomitting and seizures. (I'd wager heavily on the latter)

I paid more than I would ever possibly consider on a new liner/light stand alone coat for my heavy winter coat and some gloves. The only reason I had enough money to actually afford what I purchased was because I was intending to buy a going away/Christmas/Wedding gift for Marc and Carey. (Talk about a multipurpose purchase.)

Even though I spent my "video gaming crack habit" money on clothing for one of the first times, I still managed to purchase solely functional attire. I have yet to ever break down and purchase something that I though would look "good on me" but is of no functional use. I apologize to my Mother for every Christmas sweater she ever bought me trying to change my look. Sorry, it's just not going to happen.

I have more thinsulate on right now than should be allowed by law. ::Pauses to grope himself:: I just hope my neighbor in the PC-bong didn't just see that.

Ahem! Moving along, later I met up with Marc and he taught me the ropes of using the Autobike. I only almost ran him over once! Seriously, I basically got a handle on the control and basic maneuvering involved, but if when the time comes that I don't feel safe when I have to ride I will just keep it parked in his garage. On the plus side, my new clothing kept me toasty warm even though it is positively freezing outside now.

I'm going to hook Marc up with some cash so he can purchase me a string of A-list American games for my Playstation2 while he is in the States. Game importing is prohibitively expensive. Damn you Sony.

Somehow I got taken over to eat with Marc and Carey and their new director's house. I don't know it happened, but I had some kick ass bulgogi out of the deal so I am not complaining. I had mixed feeling about the whole outting because whenever I am over at their new school I have to listen to them dog Rawoori constantly. It's not that they don't have their reason for grievances, but that's what I want to leave BEHIND when I go out, especially since they don't have to hear me complain about it even though I am the only one left there. I'm not one for gossip or office talk. Minor annoyance. (Sorry to Marc when he read this. I hate to act so passive aggressive on the subject.)

On that note, I still haven't made plans to see Harry Potter with anyone successfully, but not for a lack of trying. If plans continue falling through I'll just see the damn thing alone. I don't care.
