I’m sorry to say that in my limited experience (to a couple of live games in Korea and the intereminable Park Chan-Ho repeats on TV) baseball is not fun at all and I would rather watch football (soccer to you?) any day. Radio announcers for baseball games are always much better than TV. Especially the old-school broadcasters (who are becoming rarer these days). Baseball is very much a strategy game, and you don't actually need to watch it to appreciate it Though it's fun to see outfielders leap into the wall for a ball. Or when a ball hit Jose Conseco on the head and bounced over the wall for a ground-rule double. Hehe...Conseco.
