		<description>I've been in classrooms like that before.  I refer to this situation as the "Come to Jesus meeting".  Slightly blasphemous, but apropos nonetheless.  The problem is you should never make a threat that you aren't willing to back up.  Hopefully your director did not promise some wrathful vengeance but is unwilling to inflict said vengeance at the appointed time.

Also effective in these cases is to make an example of somebody.  In order for this to work the rest of the class needs to be clear on why one of their peers is being punished/expelled/whatever.  Read Pavlov, that's all the educational psychology you really need (of course I'm exaggerating...but not by much).</description>
