		<description>Your post reminded me of the time I gave root beer to my Korean students in L.A.  I didn't know whether they'd like it or not.  They hated it -- diplomatically expressed, of course.  Now I would know better, but at that time I didn't.</description>

		<description>Your plight reminds me that some family members faced a similar situation years ago when they lived overseas. Their solution was to make their own root beer. Googling should give you some resources.

It probably won't be quite the same, but it may open up a whole new hobby.</description>
