You know that whole "Myspace" thing where people can trade friends, links, viral videos, and generally act more popular than they really are just by having a website? Well, a website call Ning has a web application that lets you create your own social networking site, just like Myspace. I’ve set up my own little social networking portal for this site, called ::A Geek in Korea Social Network:: (Catchy!)

Right now, the site is somewhat lacking in the "friends" section. It’s only been up a day, and I’ve only sent out a handful of invites. Don’t fret if you haven’t been invited yet. I’ve got some invitations out for friends and people who leave frequent comments on this site. If you’d like to join in on the chat, videos, pictures, and forum, go to ::A Geek in Korea Social Network:: and sign up. It’s basically like the forums I have now, but on steroids. If it gets a decent response from people, it’d be a much better way to keep in touch. It’s totally private, so you don’t have to worry about weird people sending you messages.

Basically, this is your chance to get involved. Got something to say, but no blog? This might be the place to say it. Want to ask me a few questions? Post a video you’ve made? Whatever. This would be the place for it. It’s simply an experiment in connectivity I’d like to try out.
