Wanna see the greatest of documentary ever dealing with the world as the subject? As you are posting about the Geology and all that. Check out BBC Planet Earth Series. There are 11 Eps. It is the Greatest ever! At least to me. I've just recently seen it and it impresses me to no end. But I'm not claiming I know any thing about the subject at all!
Check out !@#$://forums.mvgroup.org/index.php?showtopic=10334, You can also find Srt files for them if you (like me) have a hard time understanding. There are follow up series for it also?(name of it escapes me ATM.) While you are there check out other documentaries that are out there. Since you have superduperfastdownloads, you can watch them in no time. :-)

Anyways, enough geeking about this and BTW, Thanks for the linux tips from earlier posts back!

Regards.

Another weird coincidence, this week I'm auditing a company that does mineral exploration particularly platinum. I've spent all week knee-deep in geologists reports trying to determine if they really have as much in the way of proven reserves as tehy say they do...Frankly, I don't have a clue what any of it means...could do with your expertise!

One of my favorite memories from high school was missing the minerals test freshman year because I had a dentist appointment. I heard it was ridiculously hard and many people bombed it. The make up test was cake (the teacher even gave me hints when I was about to say the wrong answer). So great.

I was just talking about Geology of U.S. National Parks today at work. Weird coincidence. For some reason people complained about the tests being hard. I barely studied the notes about an hour beforehand and aced them all. I had forgotten you were in that class, too. Sorry.
