Less satisfied by Spider-man 3 than X-men III? X-men III was total garbage, I can’t wait to hear what you have to say about Spider-man. I’d rather sit through the entire Spider-man movie series in a row than see that stinker again. The entire cast of X-men was trying to die as quickly as possible as to not be included in any spin off movies.

Yeah - I agree with Torgo on this one. It was a letdown. Some stuff was good, but the stuff that wasn’t negated it. I think it’s sad that I felt less satisfied by this than I did by X-Men III - and I had a few unkind words to say about that.

Yeah, it’s a bit…meh. It’s no where near as bad as the later Batman movies however despite the insane number of characters and things going on. No nipples on the costumes either. They are sort of hurting trying to introduce new villains and seemed constrained due to the past films. (Got to deal with Harry/Goblin.) Venom looked exceptionally stupid when talking, so they always peeled away his “symbiote mask” to let Topher Grace do his “acting”. The whole way the suit got to Spider-man was eye-roll worthy. Sandman was cool looking effects wise, but his story was so lame.

“Let’s shoot some techno-radiation at some sand.”
“Hey, it looks like there is some sort of malfunction in our readings. Something living has fallen into our HUGE EMPTY PIT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Should we go check to see what it is?”
“Nah, it’s just a bird. Start the experiment anyway.”
“Really? It wouldn’t have been that hard to just have installed a camera you know. We could just check to see…”
“I SAID START THE EXPERIMENT!”
“I’d be willing to walk down the end of the hall just to ch–
“START THE EXPERIMENT!”
“Fine…. Dick.”

(ANOTHER SCIENCE EXPERIMENT GONE AWRY?! SHOCK!)

The only humor in the movie is how laughably bad it is, sometimes intentionally? The whole “He’s ‘aggressive’ now” montage was cringe worthy, but hilarious at the same time. Peter was a bit of a self-involved guy before, but he was a flat out dick to EVERYONE but Aunt May in this.

I don’t remember Spider-man making a SINGLE quip or anything remotely funny during a fight. The whole “darker side” of Spiderman was reflected in how he combed his hair slightly different. It’s overly long as well. I don’t need to see Kristin Dunst sing TWICE, or a spiteful dance/revenge sequence (REALLY) either.

The effects were topnotch though. It’s best that Venom will never be made into a spin-off movie like some Spider-man fans wanted.

I would like to see Green Lantern on the silver screen.

“Experience the Wonder”?? Lame. I noticed the poster featured some prominent cleavage. Classy. That’s a real hero role model for young girls everywhere.

What about Wonder Woman or Justic League? Funny. I hold out hope that I will enjoy Spider-man 3. I enjoyed the previous two, but the hype and expectations (and villian after villian) may be too much for this movie to overcome.

I’ve read bad reviews. Plus, I’ve never liked the whole symbiote/black costume/Venom thing. I think I’ll pass on this one and wait for Dark Knight or the next Superman movie to come out.
