There was a letter in the Joong Ang daily on Tuesday by a Korean about the lack of "symbols" in Korea. I was very tempted to write in reply and say there are plenty of Korean symbols eg Hanguel, temples, the flag etc, the koreans just don't seem to keen on using them and would prefer to use English. which got me thinking of a T-Shirt.

How about a T-shirt with the Korean flag on it and the Hanguel for the words Tell / Replied. I'd love to make some up and see what the Koreans thought of them, and how many would get the reference to Ask /Enquired.

I was given the task of finding a shirt with Korean on it for a friend back in the States. It took weeks to find one! Eventually we were in Seoul and found some old knockoff World Cup shirts. It's not common at all.

I saw my first T-shirt in 9 months with Hanguel on it yesterday.
Do you ever see Hanguel T-shirts?
