		<description>It's the same reason people watch the American Idol auditions.  People like to see other people make complete idiots of themselves.  Period.

Plus, have you heard most of the pop music being recorded lately?  It's not exactly Sinatra.  There's a reason music videos control radio playlists.  It's not about sound.  It's branding.  Marketing gremlins control it all.  That's why I listen to NPR.

Speaking of music, Johnny Cash's 1968 At Folsom Prison album is great.  Forget the Walk the Line soundtrack, this is the real deal.</description>
