We were evacuated to a nearby buiilding in the complex (it was pretty cold out, especially if you're wearing shorts and a bathrobe). Someone's stove caught fire on the third floor. Luckily the fire department got there quickly and contained the blaze. We were told another couple minutes delay and the whole building would have been lost. My apartment was on the first floor on the opposite end, on the other side of the fire doors. My stuff didn't even suffer smoke damage. Pure luck.
