I like the versatility of Pokemon trainer. You have sqirtle who is extreme fast and has some pretty strong kicks, then you have Ivysaur with good projectiles, then Charizard with the heavy hits to KO. It sucks to change them out though, puts you in a really vunerable position.

Yeah, metaknight does not have a strong finish, if he did he would be way too overpowering. With him you just have to rack up the damage and hope you land a strong punch.

Toon Link is a big pain to fight against. Compared to Link, he’s faster, smaller, has a great air game, and is all around better, IMO. I almost feel guilty using him.

I really want to get better with Diddy Kong and Pit too. (Hyayayaya-yah!) I got SLAUGHTERED whenever I used Wario and didn’t get items like the Smash Ball. Yikes, if I want to use him I’ll really have to practice more.

I noticed you liked Pokemon trainer. I’m not good enough with a single character, let alone all three at once!

GimpyFish (A Smashboard Mod/Pro) was talking about Metaknight with lots of praise. I just don’t seem to have a “finisher” when I use him. Racking up damage is no problem, but unless the other guy makes a mistake, the match drags on. He’s so light, so he needs his recovery too.

Metaknight is a bitch. He is way too fast. He’ll walk all over the bigger slow characters. I’ve seen some pros play with him, just unstoppable! The only thing he lacks is a strong smash.

Pokemon trainer is definitely my favorite. You did really good with Toon Link. He’s hard to fight with Squirtle but with the dragon and Ivysaur it’s a pretty good match.

Great Game BB! I need to practice against your Ivysaur, and REALLY hate your Metaknight. I’m available around the same time every day when we played on April 1st. Looking forward to a few more games.
