Sounds like my week last week when I thought I would be on a plane home after the nonsense that played out in some of my classes. There was even a full-blown scene from "The Exorcist" after I sent a couple of students in to "talk" over their problems with the owner. This student lost it once they returned back to my class--screaming, crying, and tossing of everything within their reach. The other kids weren't too freaked out because this happenes on a regular basis in their public school as well. This student has serious mental issues, but I can't get them any help here because of the loss of face that the family would incur.

So, depending on the day, I either get a great student, or one who makes the class a living hell. When it gets too bad, I just have to remember that I'm not suffering in a Gulag up North with those who have more than just a few bad days every now and again.

Luckliy, I have a few days in between when most of the classes really get it and do give me some hope for the future; however, these days are declining in frequency.
