A little about me....

This website will be the chronicle of my adventures in Korea. Through this site you will have a chance to experience Korea through the eyes of someone that is arriving there for the first big adventure of their life. My opinions about both Korean and American cultures will be shared. I hope to have some fun, entertain some people, and learn from my mistakes...

(An addendum...)

I've been here for two years, now, and I've grown to think differently about the world, Korea, and my place in it. My perspective has changed from a foreigner overwhelmed constantly with a strange new culture, to a foreigner only slightly less bewildered, but definitely less confused.

Teaching students of an another language has gone from the extremely stressful challenge it once was, to a job I can do well enough to get by and have some people learn from me in the process. My social life has stopped being about living for the weekend. I've realized it's time to start living and learning about the place I call home right now, and for the foreseeable future, Korea.
